The latest Gallup opinion survey in 2022 showed that the hatred of the Afghan people for America has increased to the maximum possible and Saudi Arabia has obtained the highest popularity rating, which is about 40%. Based on this survey, one out of every four people, that is, about 25% of the people, also have a positive opinion about the neighboring country, the Islamic Republic of Iran.
China and Russia, two countries that have warm relations with the Islamic Emirate, are still in the low ranks of popularity among the Afghan people with 14% approval.
The Gallup report states that "Afghanistan people did not always have a negative view of the politics of other countries; but now they find themselves in an apparently hopeless situation and the international community has failed in their country."
Regardless of Gallup's assessment, the fact that the people of Afghanistan have always been xenophobic and opposed and fought against the rule of foreigners over their destiny is not something that can be denied.
In the meantime, the hatred of the Afghan people towards America is not only because of the occupation, crimes and tragedies committed by the invading American military and their allies. Today, they consider America to be a complete symbol of infidelity, which conspires to destroy Islam and weaken Islamic states, violates and invades, and starts wars.
The people of Afghanistan, who have tasted the bitter taste of 20 years of occupation and are still suffering from its disastrous consequences, may have realized better than any other nation the fact that America will never act to save nations and countries, human rights. America is a big deception, the determination of America's friendship and enmity is the vital interests and strategic goals of Washington, there is no permanent friendship or enmity for Americans, if necessary, people will simply be ignored by America and their obvious rights it gets trampled.
Therefore, after America's great betrayal of the people of Afghanistan, the cowardly escape of the American occupying forces, the blocking of Afghanistan's national assets, and the abandonment of the people in the middle of poverty and disaster, now people hate the criminal America more than ever in the past. Its global leadership is doubtful; because they know that this superpower is declining and collapsing, is involved in its major internal problems and crises, and just as it turned its back on all its colonial commitments and agreements in front of the puppet government of Kabul and left it alone, in the future as well. If his interests and position require it, he will simply repeat this work over and over again.
With this account, the people of Afghanistan have shown favor to the big Islamic countries, including Iran and Saudi Arabia, in the hope that after the withdrawal of the American occupying forces and the independence of our country from the 20-year occupation of the United States and NATO, this time the Islamic countries will take on real responsibilities. They should act to help a Muslim nation and not allow its fate to be determined by the Western colonial powers.
It seems that the result of this survey about the favor of the Afghan people to Saudi Arabia and Iran puts this important Islamic power in front of a serious historical mission and raises their share and position in the equations of Afghanistan and the Islamic world.
In the meantime, the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a regional power, has previously provided the most assistance to the people of Afghanistan and has always made a great contribution to reducing the pain and suffering of the people, trying to save Afghanistan, providing peace and security, and prosperity and peace and prevented the spread of crisis and disaster in our country, and from now on, Tehran's basic policy towards Afghanistan will be the continuation of the same policies of the past.
But there is doubt about Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh regime must stop playing on American soil, especially in the equations related to the region and the Islamic world, stop supporting Takfiri and terrorist movements, stand by the Afghan people regardless of their ethnicity, religion, and political orientation, and use the possibilities and the opportunities he has to try to heal the decades-old deep wounds of this Muslim nation, a victim of the colonial policies of the West and the East and their regional mercenaries.
