On the other hand, the Omani Foreign Minister emphasized that his country has always supported the stability, prosperity and development of Afghanistan and wants to expand its relations with this country.
In addition to diplomatic relations, economic cooperation forms an essential part of any country’s foreign policy. After decades of war, Afghanistan is now trying to rebuild its economy, attract investors and expand its trade opportunities. The Afghan Foreign Minister called on Oman to pay special attention to facilitating bilateral trade, Afghan exports, providing investment opportunities for Omani investors, and facilitating visa issuance.
Oman, which is considered one of the important economic centers in the Gulf region, can be an important trading partner for Afghanistan. Developing trade relations between the two countries will enable Afghan traders to export their products to global markets through Oman.
