Tasua means not taking your eyes off your master's gaze; that is, being obedient to the Imam's command; that is, not attaching your heart to the world for a moment. That is, when your master says "stay," stay; when he says "go," go; when he says "water the camel," take the waterskin and give your life, but do not diminish one drop of your loyalty.
Tasua means learning this great truth that the servanthood of God is in obeying the proof of God. That is, we should know that if Abbas became the moon of the Bani Hashim, it was not because of his radiant arm, but because of his obedient heart; a heart that did not separate even a particle from his Imam.
Tasua means that even today, if you want to be a Husayni, you must be an Abbasid. You must be a flag bearer of the guardianship. You must be obedient to the Imam of your time. That is, if one day the enemy gives you a thousand excuses to deviate from the path of truth, you should stand by the Imam and say with the same loud voice: “My life is sacrificed for the command of my master!”
Tasua means a loyal flag bearer, a model of servitude and obedience; that is, let us not forget that at any time, the one who is more obedient is the prouder. This is what immortalized Abbas as a guardianship.
Peace be upon Tasua, the day of obedience…
Peace be upon Abbas, the teacher of obedience to the Imam of the Time…
Peace be upon the severed hands that became a document of loyalty and servitude…
Tasua means obedience and loyalty; that is, servitude to God in the shadow of obedience to the Imam of the Time. That is, Abbas, the flag bearer, who showed that even if the whole world lined up against your path, you would still not take your eyes off your master and would not give up supporting him.
Tasua means learning that nothing in this world is worth breaking the heart of God's guardian; not water, not a letter of protection, not the temptations of the enemy. That is, Abbas became Abbas, because every part of his being was sacrificed in the path of obedience to Hussein.
And today, Tasua means pledging allegiance again to the flag-bearer of Karbala; that is, we must also be steadfast in the path of guardianship. That is, today, obedience and support to the Supreme Leader is the duty of every beloved and guardian.
Just as Abbas did not leave his brother behind in Tasua, we must also support our guardian in all circumstances; whether in a soft war, an economic war, or cultural attacks.
