When Al-Aqsa Mosque is weeping blood and the nation is asleep!

9 Aug 2025 - 18:39

Abdul Rauf Al-Tawana/ The heart of the Prophet of God (PBUH) is wounded by the lack of zeal of the Islamic nation; his pure soul is immersed in endless sorrow and from the wounded body of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the blood of dignity that has been trampled on flows without ceasing.

There is no pain more painful for a believing Muslim than the tragedy that is taking place in Gaza today. The cries of children, the tears of mothers, and the silent cries of men who are being tortured and raped in the darkness of Zionist prisons are the sounds of oppression that shake the conscience of every awake Muslim. This suffering has not only crossed geographical borders, but has been engraved in the heart of history.

But Gaza is not simply a human tragedy; Gaza is the touchstone of the faith, zeal, and humanity of the Islamic nation in this dark age. And how bitter it is that many have not emerged victorious in this great test.

Gaza and the Deadly Silence of the Islamic World
Today, the Muslim Ummah, with all its population, resources, and claim of unity, is more of a silent spectator of the scene of genocide than a defender in the face of an organized and relentless crime by the Zionist regime, with the full support of the United States and its Western allies.

This silence does not stem from weakness, but from the weakness of faith, the death of zeal, and captivity in the shackles of political and economic dependencies.

And woe to us who today see images of the slaughter of children and women in Gaza as an ineffective spectacle in the media, without a heart trembling, a hand raised, or a cry raised.

The betrayal of the rulers; hands stained with the blood of their own kind
The most bitter aspects of this tragedy are the roles of the rulers and governments that call themselves Muslims but stand in the ranks of the enemies of Islam.
Today, Egypt has closed the Rafah crossing, Turkey has kept a calculated silence, Jordan has kept appeasement, the UAE and Saudi Arabia have normalized relations, Qatar has adopted a dual policy, and other reactionary governments have all played an active role in completing the puzzle of neutralizing the resistance and destroying Gaza.
I said to the trees in the forest: With all this greatness, why are you afraid of a piece of iron called an axe?
They said: Our suffering is not from the axe, but from its handle, which is our own kind.
This consensus with Trump, Netanyahu, and the dream of a Greater Israel is no longer hidden, but is a naked and ongoing disaster with signatures, budgets, meetings, and intelligence coordination.
The project of besieging, destroying, and ultimately completely destroying Gaza and then occupying the West Bank has been planned for years, and today, with the tacit consent or shameful silence of some Arab governments, it is being officially implemented.

Al-Aqsa Mosque; The ultimate goal of the conspiracy
Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla of Muslims, is today caught in a deadly siege.
The ultimate goal of this sinister project is not only the complete destruction of Gaza, but also the complete destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the forced displacement of the Palestinian people, and the complete annexation of the Holy Land to the Zionist regime.
If this plan is fully implemented, this disgrace will remain not only on the foreheads of the traitors, but also on the foreheads of all Muslims of this era; a stain that history will never forgive.

The Islamic Ummah; At the Crossroads of History
Today, every mosque in which prayers are held must echo the call of Gaza.
If every Friday preacher does not speak about the oppression of Palestine, his sermon is incomplete.
Any Islamic media outlet that turns a blind eye to the unjustly shed blood of the people of Gaza is itself part of the enemy's project.
Religious scholars, university professors, media, cultural and political activists are all responsible.
This tragedy is not only a test for the rulers, but also a test for every Muslim who will take a stand against this blatant crime.

End of the speech; Will we remain ungrateful?
If the Islamic Ummah remains silent today in the face of this genocide;
If it considers this tragedy only as news on social media;
If our youth continue to be preoccupied with fashion, fashion, celebrities, and virtual entertainment;
We must admit that we have failed not only in defending Gaza, but also in safeguarding our faith, zeal, and Islamic identity.
And let us be aware:
What happens to Gaza today will knock on our doors tomorrow.
And on that day, perhaps there will be no time left to cry out or an opportunity to make amends.
