The School of Hosseini; The School of Honor and Resistance
The School of Hosseini is a school that creates honor and dignity. Imam Hosseini (AS) is considered a symbol of honor and pride for all lovers of honor and dignity in the world, both Muslims and non-Muslims. Undoubtedly, the personality and identity of each individual is revealed in the vicissitudes of life and in the ups and downs of time, and a person's strength and steadfastness in the face of various crises and events indicate his inner and inner honor and dignity.
Karbala; The Embodiment of Chivalry and the Revival of Religion
In the history of Hosseini, Karbala - which is a very great and amazing event - has depicted the identity of chivalry and dignity of Imam Hosseini (AS) and his loyal companions. They stood against the tyranny of time, shook the foundations of arrogance, and revived the religion of God. That is why, with the passage of time, the good and desirable qualities of Husseini have become more apparent, and the sharp eyes of history have always recorded the honor and strength of the great teacher of Karbala.
Muharram and Safar; The Great University of Husseini Education
The best opportunity to benefit from and learn from the beautiful Islamic teachings and teachings is the months of Muharram and Safar; the days when people gather in Husseini gatherings and pulpits to mourn the leader and leader of martyrs, Hazrat Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS), and it is said that the most authentic and pure Islamic teachings and teachings are found during these days. The mourners of Imam Hussein (AS) follow the example of Husseini's school, in addition to shedding tears and singing dirges.
Lasting Messages of Ashura
What is important and necessary for us is to learn and act on the sublime message of Ashura; although the Ashura of Hussein has profound messages in various dimensions, the most obvious of them is the revival of prayer, reforming society, enjoining good and forbidding evil, and standing against the tyrant. Hazrat Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS) said in a speech addressed to his brother Muhammad Hanafiya: “I rose up to reform the affairs of the nation of my grandfather and father, and to enjoin good and forbid evil.”
The Test of Loyalty to the Hussaini Line in the Present Era
Now the question arises: if we claim to follow the Hussaini Line and be hostile to the Yazidi Line, to what extent have we understood the words of that dear Imam and to what extent have we tried to reform the intellectual, moral, and behavioral aspects of ourselves and those around us? Have we stood up against oppression and responded to the call of the oppressed? If we have done so, we have certainly responded to the call of Imam Hussein (AS) “Who will support me?”
Undoubtedly, in the present era, the Hussaini line and the Yazidi line are still alive. It is we who must determine which path we are on and which trend we are defending and propagating. The Ashura movement made us understand that at any time and in any situation, we should not respond to the call of oppression and we must stand up against the tyrants and arrogant people. Wherever injustice is done to someone, we must defend the oppressed; otherwise, we must doubt our belief and claim that whose call we have responded to.
The face of the tyrant today
Today, the oppression of the arrogant people and tyrants of the world and their allies is not limited to armed war. They are trying to divert the minds of our youth, women and children by strengthening terrorist and inhumane groups in some parts of the country, and also under the titles of “human rights”, “women’s rights” or through various institutions and associations. In such a situation, what is our duty?
The danger of silence in the face of oppression
If we remain silent in the face of the oppression of the enemy and his agents, or advise others to remain silent, and refuse to confront the arrogant with excuses such as “it is not in our best interest”, we must doubt our true faith and following of Imam Hussein (AS); the Imam who rose up in 61 AH to confront the injustices and oppressions of the tyrants of the time. Does crying on Ashura and feeling sorry, like the repentants and the people of Kufa at the time, place us in the ranks of the companions of Hussein (AS)? Or do we want to shirk our responsibility with false arguments such as “the enemy is stronger and better equipped”?
The Lesson of Karbala; Standing Even in the Minority
We must know that in the incident of Ashura, the enemy army was hundreds of times larger than the army of Hussein, but it was the will and permission of God that 72 people stood against thousands and created a revolution in the world that will last until the Day of Judgment. This great movement of Ashura is the factor of unity and cohesion of the Islamic Ummah and teaches us to coordinate our movement with the movement of our leader and master, Hazrat Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS), and to renew our allegiance to his ideals every year.
