Behind the scenes of Iran-US talks; Europe
While the tension between Iran and the US has reached its peak with the transfer of extensive military equipment by the United States in the region and the possibility of a full-scale military confrontation is increasing every day, a window has suddenly opened in the field of diplomacy these days. According to some published reports, negotiations between the American and Iranian delegations are scheduled to be held in Turkey on Friday of this week, with the presence of representatives from some countries in the region. It is said that this meeting has been planned with the aim of resolving tensions and preventing a widespread military conflict in the region. However, it seems that the difficult and impossible conditions, Iran's policy of imposition and unconditional surrender towards the US, and Trump's totalitarianism have made it impossible to reach a comprehensive agreement and the possibility of the talks collapsing is very high.
Although the outcome and outcome of the US-Iran negotiations or the "military diplomacy" experienced in the Western political-military doctrine is questionable in such sensitive circumstances and given the tense past relations between the two countries, inherent hostility and, most importantly, deep-rooted ideological and intellectual clash, the Europeans and Israel are nevertheless extremely concerned and fearful of a possible agreement between Iran and the US for their own specific reasons.

Reasons for Israel's Fear of a Possible Agreement between Iran and the US
1- Erosion of Military Power and Dependence on the US:
The Zionist regime is afraid of stopping the military attack and a possible agreement between the US and Iran, because it has lost its military force in the ongoing and attritional wars with Hamas, Hezbollah and Yemen and now wants to crush Iran with the power of the US. Otherwise, they believe, there will be no more Israelis.
2- Vulnerability to Iran's missile power:
Israel knows that it does not have the tolerance and capacity to hit Iran's heavy and destructive missiles, neither in terms of defense power nor in terms of geography and territory. Therefore, it wants to weaken Iran with American force.

3- Fear of revenge for the crimes committed:
The horrific crimes that the Zionist regime committed in Gaza, Lebanon, and also in the 12-day war against Iran have caused this regime to fear Iranian revenge and know that Iran will not let it go. Therefore, it is seeking destruction and sabotage in the process of negotiations.
4- Iran's obstacle to expansionism:
Israel is seeking expansionism and territorial expansion in the region, and only Iran is considered the main obstacle to these expansionisms and aggressions. With Iran, it is impossible for Israel to reach the "promised land" of "Greater Israel" (from the Nile to the Euphrates). Therefore, it is trying to eliminate or at least weaken Iran in order to achieve its goals.

What are the Europeans afraid of a possible agreement between the United States and Iran?
Although the Europeans are important and strategic partners of the United States and have always adopted a unified and common position against other countries, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran, what scares the Europeans at the moment are Trump’s unpredictable decisions and unexpected foreign policies, which sometimes put not only the United States but also the entire West at risk. For this reason, some European policymakers have stated: “We fear America under Trump more than Russia.”
The Europeans, especially after Trump came to power, want to drag the United States into a long and attritional war with Iran. You will remember that at the same time as Israel invaded Iran, the “European Troika” activated the trigger mechanism against Iran to, on the one hand, apparently show their alignment with the United States and Israel, and on the other hand, give Trump more incentive to attack Iran. They succeeded in this policy and unintentionally brought the United States into war with Iran.
The Europeans have actually launched a hidden and dangerous game with the aim of defeating Trump. Just as in June 2025, alongside Zionist lobbying in the United States, they deceived Trump and led him into war with Iran, this time, at the same time as the US military buildup around Iran, they declared the Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. Of course, these labels are an awkward fit with the past and brilliant record of the Corps in fighting international terrorism, especially the ISIS terrorist group in Syria and Iraq, but they could escalate tensions and provoke Trump to attack Iran.

Why does Europe declare a country's official military force to be terrorist?
Declaring a country's official military force - which is also a prominent and influential member of the United Nations - as terrorist could have several main reasons:
1- Provoking Trump to attack:
This action is taking place while the US is seeking to attack Iran. Europeans, who are interested in involving the United States in a war with an uncertain future, want to give Trump, who is described as an emotional person, more motivation and provoke him to take military action against Iran.
2- Fear of Trump's America and efforts to undermine it:
Europeans fear America under Trump more than Russia, because Trump's unpredictable policies towards Europe, his rapprochement with Russia, his turning his back on Ukraine, and his recent claim to possess Greenland have shocked Europeans. Therefore, they are trying to involve the United States in a long and uncontrollable war in West Asia so that the military and economic power of this indebted country is completely depleted and it turns into a "paper tiger".
3- Lost position and tendency towards global chaos:
It seems that European countries, especially France, Germany, and also Britain, have lost their position in the international system for the time being.

Consequences of the Europeans declaring the IRGC a terrorist group
For Iran, the European Union's designation of the IRGC as a terrorist group is not very costly. Just as activating the trigger mechanism had little effect other than a few propaganda and psychological effects, Iran called this European action illegal and immoral. In return for designating the IRGC as a terrorist group, Iran will eventually declare the armies of EU member states as terrorists - which the Iranian parliament has officially declared.
But for the Europeans, this type of action comes at a cost. Because first, the IRGC has a brilliant record in fighting terrorist groups. Second, if changes in the Middle East are in Iran's favor, or if - assuming it is impossible - negotiations between Iran and the United States are successful and war is averted, or if war does occur and ultimately leads to peace and interaction between the two sides, the strategic mistakes that the Europeans are making so easily against Iran today will certainly be irreversible.
But on the contrary, on the other hand, Iran's declaration of the European military as terrorists - considering that European military personnel have been involved in many assassinations around the world - this "burn" will remain on their foreheads forever, and they will have no role in the "new world order" in the future.
