Unfortunately, after the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in Turkey and the division of Islamic countries and the establishment of imposed borders in Islamic geography, not only did Muslims not support each other, but they also became mortal enemies of each other. These same geographical borders and the loss of convergence in the Islamic world led to the occupation of Holy Quds. The Western world had also designed short-term and long-term programs and plans to forget the Palestinian issue until the issue of Quds was completely forgotten. But the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran disrupted all the conspiracies and plans of the West regarding Quds.
The first slogan and goal of the Islamic Republic of Iran was the liberation of Quds. This was not a word or slogan, but a practical strategy, and the Islamic Republic and the leaders of this system, from the Great Khomeini to the Second Khamenei, took significant practical steps in this direction. On the path to Quds, the Islamic Republic accepted countless sacrifices in the political, economic, social and human dimensions. Many leaders and scholars of the Islamic Republic were martyred on this path. Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him) took countless practical steps in this direction; from forming and comprehensively supporting the axis of resistance to martyrdom on this path. In fact, Imam Khamenei became a martyr on the path to Quds and Palestine. They also practiced everything they preached and did not back down from this issue until the last breath of their lives.
The sacrifices that the Islamic Republic and the leadership of the Islamic Republic made in the path of supporting Al-Quds can be examined in three basic dimensions:
