Tension in the Strait of Hormuz; From Iran’s Firm Warning to a New Maritime Order
Along with the increase in US Navy movements in the region, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran prevented US destroyers from approaching the Strait of Hormuz with a firm warning and a warning shot. This event, which was accompanied by the targeting of an Emirati oil tanker and the return of the Iranian crew of the “Tuska” ship, illustrated new dimensions of the security order under Iranian control in this strategic waterway.
Firm prevention of the entry of US destroyers
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, the Navy of the Army observed and identified US destroyers that were planning to approach the Strait of Hormuz by turning off their radars in the Sea of Oman this morning, Monday, and immediately after the vessels’ radars were turned on, it discovered them and issued a radio warning. The warning explicitly stated that any attempt to enter the Strait of Hormuz would be considered a ceasefire violation and would be met with a response from the Iranian naval forces.
After the American destroyers ignored the initial warning, the Iranian Navy fired warning shots, including cruise missiles, rockets, and the launch of combat drones near the enemy vessels, warning that the responsibility and dangerous consequences of these actions would fall on the hostile side.
Following this encounter, the price of oil in today's trading rose above $113 per barrel.
This action came after US President Donald Trump announced a plan last night called "Project Freedom" for commercial ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
In contrast, the command of the Central Headquarters of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) warned: "The security of the Strait of Hormuz is in our hands and any passage must be coordinated with our armed forces. If any foreign armed force, especially the aggressive US army, intends to approach and enter the Strait of Hormuz, it will be attacked.”

Narration of an informed military source: Preparation for any scenario
In an interview with a Tasnim reporter, an informed military source in Iran emphasized, referring to the hostile action of the Americans: “Iran is fully prepared for any scenario and the Americans know that Iran will not allow Trump and the American forces to be bullied.”
Recalling the experience of the “40-Day War,” he noted: “The Iranian armed forces will not allow the passage of American combat forces and any movement in the Strait of Hormuz will not be carried out without the permission of the Iranian armed forces. All vessels should learn from that experience.”

The informed source added: “In addition to firing at American combat vessels, other scenarios have also been prepared and will be acted upon if necessary.”

UAE tanker targeted by two drones
In another development, the UAE’s transport and logistics company ADNOC confirmed that the very large tanker M.V. Barakah was targeted by two drones off the coast of Oman. The UAE’s Foreign Ministry also announced in a statement that the tanker, owned by the Emirates National Oil Company, was targeted by two drones while passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to ADNOC, none of the crew were injured and the ship was not carrying any cargo at the time of the incident.
Ship trackers say the tanker was last recorded in Fujairah harbor about 10 days ago, and it is not yet clear whether this is the same vessel that was reported to have been hit in the Strait of Hormuz the previous day.

Announcement of the new smart control area of the Strait of Hormuz
Along with these developments, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced the new smart maritime control area in the Strait of Hormuz as follows:
- From the south, the line between Mount Mubarak in Iran and southern Fujairah in the UAE.
- From the west, the line between the end of Qeshm Island in Iran and Umm Al Quwain in the UAE.
Sardar Hossein Mohebi, spokesman and deputy public relations officer of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, in response to the statements of American officials and the announcements of the British Maritime Trade Institute, stated: “No change has been made in the management process of the Strait of Hormuz. Commercial movements in accordance with the transit protocols of the IRGC Navy will be completely secure, but violating vessels will be stopped with force. It is essential that all shipping companies and insurance companies pay serious attention to the IRGC’s announcements.”

The New Iranian Order; Field narrative from Lark Island
In a field report on the latest situation in the Strait of Hormuz, a Tasnim reporter revealed the precise implementation of new regulations by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy. The report states: “In the context of the field and from the horizon of the strategic Lark Island, which is now known as the gateway to Iran’s authority, the reality of this authority is tangible. At the exit point of the Persian Gulf, under full radar and operational supervision, an order prevails in which each vessel is required to inform the IRGC Navy of its destination and details of its movement before entering.”
Based on objective observations, contrary to Trump’s claim, a long line of oil tankers and container ships are waiting to receive permission to pass at the designated points. These vessels have learned that passing these 100 nautical miles is only possible by accepting Iran’s sovereignty and supervision.
The report adds: “Meanwhile, the lives of the natives and fishermen of Lark Island and Hormuz are going on in complete security; a picture of lasting security for friends and an impassable red line for aggressors.”

15 Iranian crew members of the "Tuska" ship return home
On Monday afternoon, 15 Iranian crew members of the container ship "Tuska", who were transferred to Pakistan following recent incidents in international waters, entered the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran through the Rimdan border terminal in Dashtiari district/city.
The ship "Tuska" had previously been targeted by the United States in a criminal act under the guise of a naval blockade. With the arrival of these 15 people, the case for the return of all Iranian crew members of the ship was completely closed; 6 of them had previously been released, and 7 others are still in Pakistan.
