Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf wrote in a post he posted on his personal page on the X social network: “The United States gets its hands dirty with a new crime every day; the terrorist attack on civilian homes on Qeshm Island is a continuation of the crimes in Minab and Lamerd.”
Recalling Washington's history of inhumane behavior, he stated: "The Americans are accustomed to making up for the slaps they receive on the battlefield by shedding the blood of innocents. They will pay the price."
Attack on Chah-Tango Village and Martyrdom of a Family
This sharp reaction comes after Abdul Razzaq Narimani, the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Qeshm District/City of Iran, announced in an interview with Tasnim reporter that the American enemy had attacked a residential house in Chah-Tango Village. He described the act as a war crime and said: "This criminal act, which led to the martyrdom of three members of a family, including a father, mother, and a two-year-old child, as well as the injury of two children aged seven and nine, is a clear example of a war crime and a clear violation of international law."
Referring to the enemy's desperation on real battlefields, the Qeshm prosecutor added: "When the enemy fails to achieve its goals in other battlefields, it takes actions that violate humanitarian principles and the laws of war, and attacking a defenseless home and family is a clear example of this approach."
According to the announcement of this judicial authority, following this bitter incident, a legal case has been filed to investigate the various dimensions of the crime, and the matter will be pursued through legal channels and through international forums.

At the same time, Esmail Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, strongly condemned the attack and announced the identities of the martyrs of this tragedy. Baghaei said: "The criminal attack last night on the homes of the most honorable Iranians in Qeshm, which led to the destruction of several houses, the martyrdom of a hardworking taxi driver, Qaiser Jafari, his wife Zahra Jafari, and their innocent two-year-old child, Sina, hurts the heart of every conscientious person."
The Iranian diplomatic spokesman called these crimes reminiscent of ISIS terrorist acts and, referring to the slogan of “peace through force” put forward by Washington, stated: “These actions, which are aimed at punishing a nation for insisting on its rights, dignity, and independence, will never generate authority and credibility.”
In a direct message to the perpetrators of these attacks, Baqai added: “With every explosion, with every crime, with every sanction, with every threat, with every killing of a child, you make Iranians more determined and united in defending their homeland.”
According to local authorities, the condition of the two injured children of this family, aged seven and nine, is reported to be critical.
