Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, the general spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, explained the most important achievements of the Ministries of Economy, Labor and Social Affairs in 1447 AH in a press conference of the "Government in the Mirror of the Press" program.
He said that in 1447 AH, in order to regulate the activities of non-Emirati institutions in the country, licenses were issued to 84 domestic institutions and 2 foreign institutions operating in the social, health, agriculture, irrigation, livestock, education and humanitarian aid sectors.
According to him, the activities of these institutions across the country have provided direct employment for 140,000 people.
Referring to the achievements of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Mujahid also stated that in 1447 AH, a total of 12,739 work permits were distributed to domestic and foreign nationals.
He added that in order to facilitate the process of providing services, the distribution of work permits has been electronic and work permit distribution agencies have also been expanded to the level of zones in the country.
The Islamic Emirate's public spokesman noted that during the same period, 45,355 trainees were provided with technical and vocational training based on the needs of the labor market by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and partner institutions, and about 24,000 graduation certificates were also distributed to the participants of these programs.
