Emirati companies; Complete 36 oil and gas projects and create job opportunities for more than 7,000 people

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In this meeting, Mr. Mujahid said that the National Development Company completed a number of important infrastructure and development projects in 1447 AH and the implementation of other major projects is also underway in different provinces of the country.

 

According to him, the first phase of the excavation of the 108-kilometer Qush Tipa Canal in Balkh Province, the administrative complex for returnees around Torkham in Nangarhar Province, the diversion dam and the first phase of digging new canals in Farah Province, the Corona Hospital project in Daikundi and the Eidgah Mosque in Maidan Wardak Province were among the completed projects of the National Development Company last year.

 

He added that the buildings of the first and second phases, the excavation of the second phase, the Qush Tipa Canal Research Center and Agricultural Farm in Balkh, the Peltoni Dam in Paktika, the Laleh, Bagrami and Sanai residential towns in Ghazni, the first lot of the reconstruction of the first and second lots of Al-Shifa Hospital, the first and second lots of the Afghan National Palace, the residential and commercial complex in the Pul-e-Mahmoud Khan area and the administrative complex of the Ministry of Finance in Dar-ul-Aman, Kabul, the Shaflugh Dam in Uruzgan, the first lot of the Siraj River irrigation canal in Helmand and a number of other projects are in various stages of implementation.

 

According to this report, through the implementation of the National Development Company projects in 1447 AH, 2,430 people have been directly and indirectly provided with work opportunities.

 

Completion of 36 projects of the Emirates Oil and Gas Company

The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate also said that the Emirates Oil and Gas Company of Afghanistan has completed 36 infrastructure and development projects in 1447 AH.

 

According to him, these projects include the construction of pump stations, the construction and reconstruction of administrative buildings, oil reserves and other development projects, and the implementation of 26 other projects is also underway.

 

Mujahid added that through the implementation of these projects, job opportunities have been created for more than 3,500 people directly and indirectly.

 

Kabul Central Silo Mill Returns to Activity After 35 Years

Furthermore, it was also said about the achievements of the Emirati Central Silo Company that the Kabul Central Silo Mill has been reactivated and entered the production phase after about 35 years of suspension.

 

According to the information provided, the General Directorate of Emirati Companies has invested about 21 million Afghanis to reconstruct and revive this silo, and this complex now has the capacity to produce about 120 tons of flour in 24 hours.

 

With the reactivation of the Kabul Central Silo, 27 types of products, including bread, breakfast products, cakes and cookies, will be produced, and these products will be offered to citizens through 20 active stalls in Kabul city.

 

Activation of three new national bus routes in Kabul

In another part of his speech about the activities of the Emirati National Bus Company, Mujahid said that in 1447 AH, in addition to the existing lanes, three new routes have been activated in the vicinity of Kabul city.

 

He also announced the reactivation of the company's inactive agencies in Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces and the start of passenger services in Maidan Wardak province.

 

According to him, during the same period, 26 different types of vehicles have also been repaired and reactivated, and the process of repairing and activating other vehicles is still ongoing.
