A Japanese newspaper has reported that 40% of Afghan refugees in this country have returned to Afghanistan. It has been said that they were forced to leave Japan due to government pressure and the country's lack of support for them.
Following the process of forced deportation of Afghan refugees from Turkey, the government of this country has detained 227 other Afghan refugees and sent them to Istanbul for extradition to Kabul.
According to the Migration Department of Edirne province of Turkey, 215 Afghan refugees were transferred from Edirne city to Istanbul in order to be deported from this country. Since the beginning of this year, Turkey has arrested nearly 30,000 Afghan refugees and forcibly returned them to the country.
