The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) says the country has increased its daily production of low-enriched uranium (LEU) after it resumed enrichment at the Fordow facility.

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi says the country has broken new ground in the field of nuclear technology and is now taking preliminary steps toward production of 20-percent modern nuclear fuel.

Iran's nuclear chief announced that the Islamic republic has equipped with a new facility to build advanced centrifuges, Financial Tribune daily reported on Tuesday.
