Serious measures have been taken to ensure security over Eid-ul-Adha throughout the country. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) officials said.

Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, in a message on the arrival of Eid-al Adha, said that the Islamic Emirate wants good political and economic relations with the world.

In the message he published on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the former president of the country, while pointing out that empathy and unity are the secret of a nation's success, emphasized that starting the national discourse as soon as possible is the only way out of all the country's problems.

UNAMA Head Tadamichi Yamamoto released a statement to mark the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, and wished all Afghans a peaceful and joyous celebration. “I hope that families around Afghanistan will be able to come together and celebrate Eid in an environment free of fear and violence” the statement said.
