The head of the General Directorate of Afghan Red Crescent says that this organization has registered 26,481 children suffering from heart disease in the past 14 years, and almost half of them have been treated.

Mati-ul-Haq Khalis, the General Director of the Afghan Red Crescent, said in a meeting with the project manager of the Qatar Development Fund in Doha that humanitarian institutions should help the Afghan Red Crescent in various sectors.

The Afghan Red Crescent Society says that it has provided cash and non-cash assistance to 1,137,810 women across Afghanistan in the past year.
