Emir of Qatar, has stated that Israel should not be given the green light to commit unconditional massacres of Palestinians.

"Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani", the Emir of Qatar, called for an end to the war in Gaza and an end to the double standards of the West regarding the killing of Palestinian children.

At the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said that, the event brings together people of all nationalities and beliefs.

After the German Interior Minister's critical comments about Qatar's hosting of the World Cup, which caused tension in the relations between the two countries, Qatar's Foreign Minister criticized Germany's "double standards" regarding the World Cup.

Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani in a telephone conversation on Tuesday evening with President Ashraf Ghani said he is ready for any cooperation in the peace process, adding that he told the Taliban that Afghanistan is not the country of 20 years ago and they should accept the fact.
