Japan has contributed additional $5 million to United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Afghanistan.

During a meeting with Japan Ambassador in Kabul the country’s Acting Interior Minister said that, “Sanction policy would not be in the interest of anyone, problems could be address through dialogue and understanding”.

The Turkish Ambassador in Kabul met with Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister on Tuesday in Kabul.

The country’s Acting Foreign Minister, met with Ambassador of Japan to Afghanistan.

Takashi Okada said that, Japan strives to increase its aid in Afghanistan, in the sectors of people’s livelihood, alternative cultivation of poppy, treatment of drug addicts and other sectors.
