In response to the deadly earthquake in Afghanistan, the United States, through the US Agency for International Development (USAID), will provide nearly $55 million in immediate humanitarian assistance. 

The United Nations launched an emergency appeal for $110 million to provide lifesaving assistance to help Afghan earthquake victims.

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Turkey's leading development aid agency, delivered food aid to 1,000 families in Afghanistan over the past week.
