Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Zionist regime's Channel 14 reported that the regime's army destroyed dozens of Syrian Air Force MiG-29 fighter jets during its attacks last night.
The Israeli army carried out numerous air strikes against about 100 targets in Syria last night and this morning.
The Arabi Al-Jadeed website reported that Israel carried out about 6 attacks on an air base in northern Sweida, 4 attacks on Brigade 90 near the border strip, and heavy attacks on air defense systems, missile depots, development and production factories at Al-Mazza Airport (near Damascus).
Based on this report, the Zionist regime's Channel 14 reported on Monday that the regime is trying to exploit the situation in Syria and achieve its two desired goals.
According to this report, the Zionist regime has two goals in Syria; the first goal is to neutralize the strategic capabilities of the Syrian army and the second goal is to enter the Israeli army into the buffer zone in the Syrian Golan Heights.
The Zionist regime’s Channel 14 further noted: The occupation of the Jabal al-Sheikh region (in the Syrian Golan Heights) provides the conditions for the Israeli army to penetrate 14 kilometers deep into Syrian territory. In this context, the Israeli regime has informed the Americans that it intends to seize the buffer zone in order to facilitate the process of carrying out this action. Since the United States has bases and areas in Syria that it has conquered by force, it will be difficult to oppose the Israeli regime’s action.
Another part of this report states that if it turns out that the new Syrian regime is hostile and dangerous, it is likely that the Israeli army will remain in the buffer zone in the future.
The Israeli Channel 14 also announced: The operation to destroy the Syrian army continues, and Israeli fighter jets destroyed dozens of targets in Syria and dozens of MiG-29 fighters last night.
The occupation army has occupied parts of Syrian territory while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced yesterday evening (Sunday) the collapse of the 1974 agreement on the separation of Syria and occupied Palestine in the Golan Heights.
In a speech in the border area between Syria and occupied Palestine, the Israeli Prime Minister said: We are closely monitoring developments in Syria and will take any necessary action to protect our borders.
These statements were made after armed groups in Syria took control of Damascus on Sunday morning (December 9).
Meanwhile, according to the Palestinian Sama News Agency, the Israeli Channel 14 reported: The Israeli army bombed more than 100 targets in Syria. The Israeli regime announced that these targets belonged to the Syrian army, including air defense systems.
Also, Syrian sources announced that the Israeli regime's warplanes bombed military positions around Damascus and targeted mountainous areas on the Lebanese-Syrian border. Some news sources also reported that these warplanes bombed the Damascus Scientific Research Center.
The Reuters news agency, citing two Syrian security sources, announced that it appears that Israel targeted the Khalkhaleh air base in southern Syria.
Meanwhile, the head of the Israeli army's joint staff, Herzi Halevi, announced that the army of the regime considers Syria to be a war front since last night (Sunday).
The Israel Radio and Television Organization also reported that Netanyahu's cabinet has approved the army's advance of several kilometers inside the buffer zone and observation posts in the Golan.
