The military maneuver of various forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards is being held within the framework of the "Aqdar" exercises of the country's armed forces, and the missile defense systems of these forces succeeded in destroying hostile birds and missiles.
According to Fars, the IRGC Aerospace Force's missile defense system engaged 30 approaching targets in this military maneuver and comprehensive point defense exercise of Iran's Natanz nuclear facility.
According to the latest reports from this military maneuver, the final phase of the "19th Prophet's Might Exercise" of the IRGC Ground Force began today, Thursday, January 10, with the presence of Major General Salami, Commander-in-Chief of these forces.
In this maneuver, which is being carried out with the presence of specialized units of the IRGC Ground Force in the western region of Iran, rapid response operation scenarios were also implemented, and the rapid transfer of forces and equipment to the maneuver area is one of the parts of this type of operation, which was carried out in the first phase of the maneuver by the Mirza Kuchak Khan Brigade.
Also, in the continuation of this IRGC Ground Force maneuver, the forces moved towards the main maneuver area.
In this phase, the participating battalions, with all their equipment and air cover from IRGC helicopters, deployed to the maneuver area in the shortest possible time.
Heliburn and Spy (rapid entry and exit to helicopter) exercises of the Saberin special forces of the IRGC ground force were also carried out in the general area of the military maneuver.
In another part of this military maneuver, Cobra helicopters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran carried out a practice of destroying predetermined targets.
In this exercise, the IRGC helicopters destroyed their targets with 70 mm Hydra rockets and 20 mm cannons.
Earlier, Brigadier General Naeini, spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, said in a press conference about this military maneuver: "In these maneuvers, some weapons and equipment are displayed for the first time, which is a sign of the ingenuity and intellectual, scientific and engineering maturity of the youth of this land in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps."
He added: "An important and priority part is the air defense power exercise in several provinces of Iran, which is carried out within the framework of the military maneuver of the defense power of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Air Force and the IRGC Aerospace Force, in coordination with the country's defense force."
