Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Following the increase in tensions, security forces affiliated with the new Syrian government have announced a curfew in Latakia that will continue until 10 am.

According to Tasnim, the clashes continue to escalate, with reports of indiscriminate shooting at civilian homes. Local sources confirmed that convoys of the New Syrian Army (affiliated with the Golani government) and armed groups from various regions, including Homs, Idlib and Jisr al-Shughour, have moved towards Latakia.
Following the escalation of clashes in Latakia, the new Syrian government’s defense and interior ministries have launched a massive security operation in rural areas of the province. This action came after forces affiliated with Tahrir al-Sham reported an attack on a security convoy near the town of Jabla.

According to the official Syrian news agency (SANA), groups calling themselves “remnants of the former government forces” targeted a Defense Ministry convoy near the village of Beit Aana in the Latakia countryside, killing one security member and wounding several others.
In response to these attacks, the Ministry of Defense of the new Syrian government sent reinforcements to the region. Security sources affiliated with the government of Ahmed al-Sharaa have announced that the opponents of the new government, after settling in the village of Beit Aana, have directly targeted the positions of the security forces.
Meanwhile, reports have been published of military helicopters flying in the region. Images published on social networks show that a helicopter is firing missiles at opposition positions in the conflict zone.

At the same time, some sources have reported the loss of communication between the Damascus command center and its security units in the coastal areas controlled by Tahrir al-Sham elements. Reports have also been published of the entry of Turkish army forces into northern Syria and it is said that Golani has requested their help in receiving military support.

Establishment of the “Islamic Council of Syrian Alawites” and Call for Peaceful Protests
Amidst the clashes, the recently established “Islamic Council of Syrian Alawites,” which describes itself as the representative of the Alawite community in Syria, called for peaceful protests against security operations in the coastal areas.
The council said in a statement that since the fall of the former government, it has been trying to reach an agreement through negotiations and dialogue, but “their demands for a list of wanted persons and the possibility of the participation of the elders in the inspection process have been ignored.”
The statement also accused the security forces of the Golani government of acts of violence, looting of people’s property, and chanting sectarian slogans. The Islamic Council of Alawites called on people in the coastal areas to gather in public squares and protest “with force but tact.” The council also emphasized that protesters should not damage public property and should only chant national slogans.
As tensions continue in Latakia, the security situation in the region appears to be deteriorating and the intensity of the clashes is increasing every moment.
At the same time as tensions are rising, a statement attributed to Ghias Suleiman Della, a former commander of the Syrian army, has been published on social media. The statement, whose authenticity has not yet been confirmed, states that he, along with a group of former army officers, have formed a military council with the aim of "liberating Syria" and that they intend to overthrow the new government.
In addition, audio files attributed to Miqdad Fatiha, the commander of one of the local armed groups, have been published, in which he calls on his forces to prepare to confront the security forces of the Golani government.

On the other hand, rallies and demonstrations in support of the new government have been held in several Syrian provinces, including Damascus, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, Idlib, Hama and Homs. In turn, armed opposition groups have also announced a general mobilization to support the new government's operations in the coastal areas.
