Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced in a report that on Friday, during various crimes committed by forces under the command of Golani, 162 civilians were killed in field executions.
The human rights organization also emphasized that many women and children were among the dead.
According to the report, in the villages of "Duwer Baabda" and "Beit Aana" in the outskirts of Jabla in Latakia province, 7 Alawite citizens and in the village of Al-Shir in the outskirts of Latakia, 24 people, including civilians, were shot dead by the forces of the interim government.
The most casualties were in the village of Mukhtariya in the Al-Haffa district of Latakia province, where 38 residents, including women and children, were brutally massacred.
In the Al-Haffa district of Latakia province, 7 people were also shot dead (execution by firing squad) and in the village of Yahmur in the Tartus countryside, two young men were shot dead (execution by firing squad).
Sheikh Shaaban Mansour (90 years old), a prominent Alawite sheikh, and his son were also shot dead (execution by firing squad) in the Salhab district of Hama countryside.
In the village of Qarfis in Latakia province, government forces entered the village and dragged 22 residents out of their homes and shot them dead in front of their families.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported that 60 people, including 10 women and 5 children, were shot dead (execution by firing squad) in the city of Baniyas by forces of the Syrian interim government’s Ministry of Defense and Internal Security.
The release of videos and images of these crimes sparked a widespread reaction in the media and social networks, with even Qatari and Saudi media outlets reporting the massacre.
Finally, Abu Muhammad al-Julani was forced to respond on Friday evening, claiming that the perpetrators of these crimes were arbitrary individuals and would be punished.
The human rights organization also emphasized that the number of victims may be higher and that additional reports would be published in the future.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also announced in its report that 42 Syrian resistance forces were killed in clashes with the interim government forces in the countryside of Latakia and Jabla, while 34 interim government forces were killed in ambushes and multiple attacks by the resistance.
Explosion near Al-Watani Hospital in Sweida
However, in the latest development, local sources reported an explosion near Al-Watani Hospital in Sweida in southern Syria, along with the sound of gunfire.
Also, the "Coast Shield" forces, from the opposition groups in the Golan Heights, added in a statement published on social media to the Syrian interim government: "We targeted your military points and columns and destroyed them, killed dozens of your soldiers and captured dozens of others, but you targeted women, children and the elderly and committed massacres against them." Al-Ahd TV in Iraq also reported the killing of Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Dhala by the security forces of the Syrian interim government, adding: "This Sunni cleric had previously condemned the ethnic cleansing operations against the Alawites by the Syrian interim government."
