Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): These artillery attacks by Syrian forces have been carried out on Shiite areas of Lebanon, especially the Bekaa Valley. The Ministry of Defense of the Syrian interim government has announced that Syrian forces have targeted Hezbollah gatherings using artillery and missiles in retaliation for these attacks.
According to reports, the Golani regime, which is known by some groups as a factor in instability in Syria, has intensified its military actions in this way. The attacks came after Hezbollah denied allegations of involvement in the border incidents. In a statement, Hezbollah stressed that it had no connection with the Syrian border incidents and that the attacks were not carried out by the group.
The Lebanese Hezbollah movement issued a statement saying: “We categorically reject any connection between Hezbollah and the incidents that occurred on Sunday on the Lebanese-Syrian borders.” The statement added: “As we have said before, we reiterate that the incidents taking place inside Syria have no connection with the Hezbollah movement.”
In response to the attacks, Syrian authorities announced that they would take more severe measures against Hezbollah if it escalated tensions. At the same time, there were reports of heavy fire exchanges on the borders and rocket and mortar attacks on various areas of Lebanon, including the Bekaa Valley.
This is while the Zionist regime has been continuing its airstrikes on Syrian territory for a long time, and there is no response from the Damascus government to these aggressions. The accusations made by the Syrian Ministry of Defense against Hezbollah, especially in the context of ongoing conflicts between Syria and Israel, have led to increased concerns about the security of the Lebanese and Syrian borders.
Overall, these attacks and mutual accusations indicate increased tensions and instability in the border area between Lebanon and Syria, which could affect the security and stability of the region.
