Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): An official statement by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which was released minutes ago, states that this operation began on the night of Eid al-Ghadir and with the code "O Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS)", during which "dozens of targets, including military centers and air bases of the Zionist regime" were attacked.
The statement describes the recent attack by the Zionist regime on Iranian soil as a "terrorist and aggressive act" and emphasizes that the Islamic Republic's response has been "precise, crushing and calculated".
The IRGC also added that the military action was in response to the martyrdom of “high-ranking commanders of the armed forces, prominent scientists, and innocent citizens, especially children,” and with the full support of the Iranian people and the guidance of the Commander-in-Chief.
The statement said: “The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as the defensive and offensive arm of the Iranian nation... carried out its crushing, precise response against dozens of targets in the occupied territories.”
