First Stage: Targeting Haifa – the Heart of Israel’s Fuel Supply
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: In the first wave of attacks that began last night, the port city of Haifa in northern occupied Palestine was targeted by about 40 Iranian missiles. The Haifa refinery, which supplies more than 60 percent of Israel’s fuel, was engulfed in flames and the city’s vital power facilities were destroyed. Hebrew-language sources reported a serious energy crisis and disruption to the regime’s air force. The successful attack on Haifa was described by international observers as a strategic blow to Israel’s economic and military backbone.
Phase Two: Tel Aviv on Fire – Unprecedented Casualties and Damage
At 3 a.m. Tehran time, a second wave of Iranian missile attacks targeted Tel Aviv and its southern areas, such as Bat Yam and Rehovot. Al Jazeera, citing Israeli sources, said the attacks killed eight people and injured at least 204 in Bat Yam. Tel Aviv’s Channel 12 also reported that about 35 people were missing in the area.
In another attack, the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, one of the most prominent scientific research centers in the Israeli regime, was directly hit by a missile. According to Yedioth Ahronoth and the New York Times, the attack led to a fire in one of the center’s laboratory buildings.
The AFP reported that some of the missiles used in the attack had warheads weighing 1.5 tons. An informed Iranian source also announced that the attacks used “Hajj Qassem” tactical and guided missiles with high-explosive warheads.
In the city of Tamra, following the Iranian missile strikes, internal unrest was reported, which may be a sign of the social atmosphere becoming critical inside.
Phase Three: Drone Attack and Penetration Deep into the Occupied Territories
With the weather clearing, the third phase of Iran’s operation began. Dozens of Iranian suicide drones penetrated deep into the occupied territories, bypassing defense systems. Israeli media reported that warning sirens were heard in areas such as Nazareth, Baysan, the Negev and Afula. Explosions were also heard around Ramat David Air Base and Ben Gurion Airport. Iranian drones were reported to be moving towards key military bases.
Official statement from the Revolutionary Guard: More severe attacks are coming
The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a statement that in response to the recent atrocities of the Zionist regime, fueling facilities for fighter jets and energy centers of the regime were targeted with a mass of missiles and drones. The statement warned that if the aggressions continue, future operations will be “more severe and widespread.”
Meanwhile, the IRGC's aerospace defense system also succeeded in intercepting and destroying 3 cruise missiles, 10 drones, and dozens of Israeli military drones in Iranian airspace last night.
Conclusion: Changing the rules of the game in the region
The coordinated, combined, and targeted attack of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has not only caused unprecedented material and human losses, but has also sent a clear message to the Zionist regime and its regional and extra-regional allies: the rules of the game have changed, and Iran has entered a new phase of active deterrence in response to aggression.
