This afternoon, Monday, June 16, in the continuation of the blind attacks by the Zionist regime, the central building of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting and the studio of the news network were targeted by a missile attack. This attack, which observers believe is a clear attempt to silence the voice of resistance and truth-tellers from the media platform of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was immediately accompanied by official and strong reactions from senior Iranian officials and the country's military institutions.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran:
Response of the head of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation: Targeting the enemy is a sign of the effectiveness of the national media
In an official message, Peyman Jabali, the head of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation, emphasized that this attack is a sign of the strategic effectiveness of the national media, saying: "A few minutes ago, the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation was brutally attacked by the Zionist enemy. This attack is a clear sign of the precise targeting of the national media to the strategic depth of the enemy's media. The children of the people in the national media are loudly declaring that our determination in the combined battle of the enemy has been multiplied and there will be no hindrance in the path of defeating the media front of disbelief.”

Spokesperson for the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces: This attack is a sign of the enemy’s desperation from the voice of truth
Sardar Shekarchi, the senior spokesman for the General Staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces, also stressed in response to this attack: “This action is contrary to international law and shows the helplessness of the Zionist enemy. Our enemies want to silence the voices of the free people of the world, but the voice of truth cannot be silenced and is growing stronger day by day.”

He also considered the silence of international institutions against this illegal action to be an example of double standards and discrimination against the rights of nations.

IRGC Response: The Enemy is Terrified by the Power of Iran’s Media Narrative
In an official statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) strongly condemned the act, describing it as a manifestation of “the enemy’s terror and desperation over enlightenment and the power of the resistance narrative.” “This terrorist act was not simply an attack on a building, but an attack on the people’s right to know, the freedom of information, and the truthful media. The voice of truth cannot be silenced. The national media narrates the oppression of Palestine and exposes the crimes of the Zionists and the lies of the Western media.”
The statement went on to praise the efforts of journalists and staff of the news network, especially Ms. Emami, the network’s patient anchor who continued to broadcast live in the midst of danger, and mentioned the role of the national media in the “cognitive war” as an effective bulwark against the empire of lies.
The final part of the IRGC statement states: “This attack is living proof of the enemy’s anger over the power of the truth front’s narrative. The IRGC declares its full support for journalists, documentary makers, and media jihadists in exposing the crimes of the brutal Zionist regime and its evil supporters.”

Experts believe that this attack symbolizes the comprehensive defeat of the Zionist regime against Iran: from the defensive failures against the wave of missiles of Operation “True Promise 3” to the inability to contain the soft power of the Islamic Republic through the national media. Now, the fact has become more evident than ever that the media of the Islamic Republic is not only a news tool, but also part of the resistance front that stands at the forefront of the cognitive battle.

This is while, alongside the Organization and Voice of Iran, on Monday afternoon, the Zionist regime made a double effort to carry out some attacks in Tehran and other parts of the country through direct and indirect attacks by its domestic mercenary agents, but it did not get anywhere due to the successful performance of Iran’s air defenses.
