Along with the 13th of Muharram and the anniversary of the burial of the holy body of Imam Hussein (AS) and his loyal companions, a magnificent mourning ceremony was held at the shrine of Imamzadeh Yahya (AS) with the widespread presence of residents of Sar-e-Pul province and neighboring provinces. Mourners from near and far moved to the shrine with groups of people beating their chests and gathered in this holy place to mourn the son of the Messenger of God (PBUH) and the martyrs of Karbala.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: This ceremony, which was held with special splendor and spirituality, was a manifestation of the people's love and devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and a renewal of the covenant with the ideals of Hussein.
 
Also, on the sidelines of this ceremony, a "Blood Vow" program was held with the aim of donating blood to patients in need, which was met with enthusiastic reception and attendance of mourners.
By attending this ceremony, the people of Sar-e-Pul once again showed that the culture of Ashura is alive in their hearts and that devotion to Imam Hussein (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala knows no boundaries or time.
