During the days of Arbaeen, Afghan refugees residing in Tehran, Isfahan, and Saveh have organized a joint procession in Najaf Ashraf by pooling resources and collaborating. It will continue to operate until the end of this month. Located near the routes leading to the holy shrine of Hazrat Ali (AS), this procession provides services such as temporary accommodation, distribution of hot food, tea, and hot drinks, and guidance for pilgrims.

The atmosphere of the procession, with its flags, posters, and large pots of food, has the color and smell of Afghan culture and traditions, and has created a friendly atmosphere. Its servants, who are themselves immigrants living in Iran, have traveled to Iraq at their own expense and with public donations to serve the pilgrims of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) on these special days. According to the organizers of the procession, the solidarity of the migrants from different cities of Iran is the secret of the longevity of this collective service. For many pilgrims, this procession is not just a place to rest, but a temporary home full of love in their exile in Iraq.
