Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Reports from southern Lebanon indicate that the attacks have intensified in the past hours. Al-Mayadeen Network announced that Israeli soldiers have penetrated from the “Al-Rahib” point towards “Talla Shawat” on the outskirts of the town of Aita Al-Shaab. At the same time, the “Jabal Safi” region and “Al-Tuffah region” were also targeted by airstrikes.

Eight airstrikes on Jabal Al-Tuffah and a new wave of bombings
The Saudi Al-Hadath network announced in several urgent reports that Israeli warplanes carried out at least eight airstrikes on the heights of Jabal Al-Tuffah on Monday night and Tuesday morning, Tuesday, December 9, with extensive flights over southern Lebanon. The network also reported a “wave of bombing” that focused on the Rumin plain and the town of Jaba’a.
A security official from the Israeli regime claimed that these attacks were “part of a military campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon.”
Local sources also reported an Israeli airstrike on Wadi Azza, between the cities of Nabatiyeh and Sidon. There have also been reports of bombing Wadi Rumin and repeated attacks on Jabal Safi. Russia Today announced that Jabal Safi has been targeted six times and Wadi Rumin twice.

Unknown casualties; Continued ceasefire violations
No official report has been released yet on the number of casualties or the extent of possible damage from these attacks.
These attacks are taking place while the Israeli regime began a massive invasion of Lebanon on October 1, 2024, and two months later, on December 2, 2020, it accepted a ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States.
According to this agreement, Israeli forces were to withdraw from southern Lebanon within 60 days; however, contrary to international commitments, the regime remains in five strategic locations in the region and has violated the ceasefire thousands of times since the agreement.
