Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pakistan's interior minister condemned the incident and announced that security agencies will hunt down and punish the perpetrators of the attack to the last person.

Today's blast (Tuesday, May 12) comes less than 48 hours after a deadly bombing at a police station in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in which 15 Pakistani policemen were killed.

In today's blast, which took place in a market in the city of Lakki Marwat, 7 people, including two traffic police officers, were killed and 18 others were injured.

Pakistani news sources reported that the hospital in the city of Lakki Marwat has been put on alert and that the death toll is likely to increase given the serious condition of some of the injured.
