Despite the increase in quality, the price of oil in the country
Officials in the Ministry of Industry and Trade say that the implementation of the economic policy of the Islamic Emirate as well as the implementation of the oil contract between Afghanistan and Russia has caused the price of oil in the country's markets to decrease by 42% in the past year despite the increase in quality.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Last year, one liter of diesel fuel was sold for 110 Afghani in fuel tanks in the capital but now its rate has been reduced to 64 Afghanis. Also, at the same time last year, a liter of petrol cost 86 Afghanis, while now its price has been reduced to 64 Afghanis.
 
The officials of the economic sector ministries of the Islamic Emirate, in a conversation with the Ava reporter, stated that the reason for this decrease was the implementation of the economic policy of the Islamic Emirate, and they said that they are trying to reduce the prices even more. They also emphasize that the quality of oil has increased a lot in the past year and Afghanistan no longer imports low-quality oil.
 
Abdul Salam Akhundzada Javad, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, told AVA reporter on Saturday (June 24), "The oil import contract, which was previously concluded between the Islamic Emirate and Russia, has been implemented in the past few months, and with its implementation "The price of oil in oil tanks in the capital and provinces has decreased by about 42% in the last year."
 
Javad emphasized that the Ministry of Industry and Trade is trying to reduce the price of other raw materials and food in the markets of the country, considering the economy of the citizens.
 
Javad made these remarks while this morning a liter of petrol and diesel was sold for 64 Afghanis and a kilogram of liquid gas was sold for 56 Afghanis in the markets of the capital.
 
Before this, the Ministry of Industry and Trade had signed an oil import agreement with Russia, and based on this agreement, two million tons of oil will be imported into the country. Also, before this, the Islamic Emirate had implemented an oil import contract with the Islamic Republic of Iran, which had reduced the price of oil in the country's markets.
 
At the same time, Ashgullah Waziri, the spokesperson of the National Standard Department, told AVA reporter that the quality of petroleum products has increased in the country's markets in the past year, and Afghanistan no longer imports low-quality oil from abroad.
 
Based on Mr. Waziri's statements; In the past year, the National Standard Administration has returned more than 3 thousand low-quality oil tankers to different countries and does not allow traders to import low-quality oil.
 
He clarified that currently Afghanistan buys oil and oil from different countries and after the oil and oil are imported into the country's ports, the National Standard Administration stabilizes their quality by taking samples from the tankers.
 
Waziri also said that dozens of tankers carrying low-quality oil have been stopped in the country's ports and the Islamic Emirate does not allow them to enter the country.
 
At the same time, the citizens of the country have welcomed the reduction in the prices of oil, petrol and diesel and they want the government to reduce the prices further considering the economic situation of the citizens.
