Militants stopped two vehicles and abducted 10 passengers in Afghanistan's central-eastern Ghazni province on Saturday, officials said.
AVA- The victims, who were residents of Nekhta village in Qara Bagh district, faced the attack around 5:00a.m. in Talkhak area of Jaghatu district.
Provincial governor Abdul Karim Matin conformed the kidnapping saying the victims included also women.
He said efforts were underway to secure their release.
Meanwhile, a village elder in Qara Bagh said that the abductees were taken to Waghez district.
Abdul Malik said that a young girl, a woman and two men were injured in the attack, which he said was carried out by the Taliban.
Taliban has yet to make comment.
