Car bomb kills three Afghan forces in Ghazni
At least three Afghan forces were killed when a car bomb exploded in central-eastern Ghazni province last night, an official said Monday.
Six others were wounded in the blast which targeted government headquarters in Deh Yak district, said Wahidullah Jumazada, a spokesman for provincial governor.
Insurgents also attacked several security checkpoints in the district and on the outskirts of the provincial capital, also Ghazni, he said.
Meanwhile, an explosion happened in Police District 16 of capital Kabul on Monday morning, police said.
The blast was triggered by a roadside bomb that targeted an Afghan forces vehicle. It caused no casualties, according to police.
