Suicide bomb injures four in Badakhshan
A suicide bomber detonated explosives in Afghanistan's northeast Badakhshan province on Wednesday, injuring four people, police said.
The blast happened around 11:30 a.m. with the attacker aiming to kill a local police commander identified as Habib, according to
The blast happened near the commander’s house in Dasht-e-Farakh area of Warduj district, but the commander was not hurt, said Sanaullah Rohani, a spokesman for provincial police.
Four people who were injured in the blast included two of the commander’s men and two civilians.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing.
