Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): General Abbas Ibrahim, Director General of Lebanon's Public Security Organization, announced that this person, who is the grandson of the half-brother of the dead Iraqi dictator, was being prosecuted by the Iraqi judicial system and is one of the accused in the Spiker massacre case. .
He emphasized that the arrest of this person, who is the grandson of Sabaawi Ebrahim Hasan Al Tikriti, was carried out based on the warrant issued by Interpol and by Lebanese Special Forces.
General Ibrahim also emphasized that Lebanon's Public Security Organization operates based on international laws and treaties on the exchange of prisoners and the extradition of persons under prosecution with Iraq and does not allow the accused to escape punishment under the pressure and interference of others.
Spiker is the name of a military base in Tikrit, where hundreds of Shiite soldiers were martyred by criminals affiliated with the Baath regime at the same time as the ISIS terrorist group attacked Iraq.
The United Nations declared more than 1,900 victims of this incident and considered it a war crime.
