135 children were killed in British military operations in Afghanistan; Britain approves 64 cases
The British army admitted to killing 64 children in military operations in Afghanistan; while figures from the Action against Military Violence organization say that at least 135 children were killed between 2006 and 2014 during British military operations in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The London-based Action against Military Violence, which works in the field of research and litigation, claimed yesterday (Wednesday, November 10, 2022) in a report that around 135 children were killed as a result of British military operations in Afghanistan have been killed since 2007. But British Army data on compensation payments to the families of these victims only confirms 64 cases.

At the same time, this statistic is being published that the British government had previously announced the death of nearly 16 Afghan children.

The organization for action against military violence has stated that air operations and being caught in conflicts were the main cause of these casualties.

According to this report, compensation has been paid for only a quarter of the 881 cases claimed to have been killed during military operations by British forces. The British Ministry of Defense has paid a total of £688,000 in compensation for the deaths of 289 Afghan civilians between 2006 and 2014.

At the same time, UN statistics show that from 2016 to 2022, at least 785 children were killed and 813 children were injured due to the aerial bombardment of American forces in Afghanistan, which means that children are 40% of all civilian casualties.
