Russian Foreign Ministry: "Hiroshima and Bakhmut" were both destroyed by America
The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in response to the statements of the President of Ukraine, who compared the consequences of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima with the conflicts in Bakhmut, said that "Bakhmut and Hiroshima" of Japan were both destroyed by Washington.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Dadamaria Zakharova regarding the statements of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who, on the sidelines of the Group of Seven leaders' meeting in Japan, compared Hiroshima, which was destroyed by the American atomic bomb, to the city. Bakhmut compared and said: Well done! Because the White House has arranged both.

According to ISNA, Zelensky told reporters on the sidelines of the Group of Seven meeting in Japan on Sunday that the ruins left by the battle of several months in the city of Bakhmut are reminiscent of the consequences of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima by America.

He added: The pictures of Hiroshima remind me of Bachmut. Complete destruction. There is nothing there. There are no people there and all the buildings in the city have been destroyed.

During this trip, Zelenskiy also laid a wreath at the memorial tomb for the victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.

Late on Saturday of this week, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that it had completely captured this destroyed city; A claim that could be the end of the longest and bloodiest 15-month war between Russia and Ukraine over Bakhmut.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also congratulated the country's military forces and the Wagner group.

Meanwhile, Kiev continues to deny losing control of the city.

Zelensky has also provided confusing signals about Bakhmut's status. Earlier on Sunday, in response to the question whether Ukraine is still in control of Bakhmut, he said, "Bakhmut is always in our hearts." A little later, he denied the claim that Bakhmut was captured by Russia.

This is despite the fact that Evgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner Group, told reporters on Sunday (31 Thor) that there are no Ukrainian forces left in Bakhmut.

According to various estimates, the atomic bombing of Hiroshima by the United States in 1945 resulted in the death of 70,000 to 80,000 civilians, or about 30% of the city's population at that time. Another 70,000 civilians were also injured in this atomic bombing. This explosion also killed about 20,000 Japanese soldiers.
