Biden: Al-Qaeda does not exist in Afghanistan
US President Joe Biden said in a press conference that al-Qaeda is no longer present in Afghanistan. He had previously said that he would seek help from the government of the Islamic Emirate to destroy this network.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Last night, during a press conference in Washington, Biden said, "Do you remember what I said about Afghanistan? I said Al Qaeda is not there. I said, "We will get help from the Taliban."

He added: What is going on now? Read the press. I was right. Nevertheless, Zalmay Khalilzad, the former representative of the US for peace in Afghanistan, in response to Biden's statements, said that his new words may be based on the recent assessment of the US National Intelligence Council, which was declassified a few days ago.

The former special representative of the US for Afghanistan affairs mentioned three things from this report on his page: First, Al-Qaeda has little infrastructure in Afghanistan.

Second, it is unlikely that Al-Qaeda will find the ability to conduct operations outside of Afghanistan by 2024.

Thirdly, if al-Qaeda decides to carry out attacks on a global level, it can carry out these attacks through its affiliates in the Middle East and Africa.

This is while the UN Security Council recently said in a report that after the Islamic Emirate's invasion of Afghanistan, ISIS and Al-Qaeda are growing in Afghanistan. A claim that was denied by the officials of the Islamic Emirate government.
