Russian Ministry of Defense: Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow was foiled
The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced today (Friday), a Ukrainian drone intended to attack targets in Moscow and neighboring areas was shot down by the Russian air defense and fell near the "Krasnopressenskaya Embarkation" area in Moscow. No casualties or fires were reported from the crash.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced: Around four o'clock local time, Kiev attempted to carry out another terrorist attack using a drone, targeting facilities in Moscow and the Moscow region.
 
The Russian TASS news agency has reported from the country's defense ministry that after the Ukrainian drone was targeted by the Russian air defense, it changed its flight path and crashed on a non-residential building near Moscow's Krasnopressenskaya Embarkation.
 
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyan reported earlier today that a drone had crashed while flying towards Moscow.
 
He added; Parts of this drone fell on the exhibition complex "Expocenter" in the center of Moscow city, but the said building was not seriously damaged.
 
Emergency services told Tas that a part of the outer wall of this building was destroyed to about 30 square meters.
