Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The third round of Iran's IKD Shotokan Asian Championship "Nakhsh Jahan Cup" in the men's section was held from 31 August to 1 September, hosted by Najafabad city, Isfahan province, in Mohabat hall of Azadi sports complex in Amirabad.
In this tournament, Afghanistan's B team won the championship, and our country's A team won the vice championship of the third round of the Asian Naqsh Jahan Cup.
Afghanistan participated in the 15th round of its continuous participation in the Isfahan international tournament under the title "Third Round of the Naqsh Jahan Cup Asian Tournament" in the form of two teams (A) and (B).
In the team section, Afghanistan's B team became the champion of this round of the competition and Afghanistan's A team became the runner-up of the third round of the Asian Naqsh Jahan Cup.
A total of 850 athletes from 7 countries of India, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Tajikistan and 18 provinces of Iran competed in the third edition of the Asian Games of Naqsh Jahan Cup.
In the total number of medals, Iran won the most medals. The Afghan team won four golds, one silver and three bronzes in the individual division and also in the team competition, and the team became the runner-up in this round of the competition. Pakistan team won the third title of the tournament.
It should be noted that Tajik Ramin Yousefi from Afghanistan was nominated as the most technical player and Sayed Mohammad Amiri from Afghanistan was nominated as the best coach of this tournament.
It should be noted that these competitions were held in the men's section from 8 to 10 September, and in the women's section, they are being held from 11 to 13 September.
