The Islamic Emirate wants to expand relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran on the basis of economic-oriented foreign policy
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Islamic Emirate, during his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, met and discussed with the Vice President of this country, Mohammad Mokhbar.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: According to the Office of the Economic Deputy Prime Minister, in this meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening the political-economic interaction between Afghanistan and Iran, the political situation in the region and the world, and the crimes of the oppressive Israeli regime in Palestine.
Mullah Baradar said in a speech in this meeting that after the end of the 20-year American occupation, Afghanistan is independent in all matters and interacts with neighboring countries, the region and the world, keeping in mind the Islamic and national values.
According to him, now political, security and economic stability has been completely established in Afghanistan and a stable Afghanistan is in the interest of neighboring countries, the region and the world.
The Economic Vice President of the Ministry emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wants to expand its political, economic, transit and commercial relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran based on an economy-oriented foreign policy.
Mohammad Mokhbar, the Vice President of Iran, also said in his speech that Iran is interested in expanding its relations with Afghanistan and wants to develop political, economic, trade and transit relations between the two countries and jointly plan a plan for the welfare of the peoples of the two countries.
He added that both countries should be committed to the implementation of the agreements and work together to preserve the environment and especially drought and water management.
The Vice President of Iran said in this meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy, Iran is ready to significantly increase Afghanistan's exports and imports through Chabahar port. He also said that Iran is ready to fully cooperate with Afghanistan in the field of using advanced technology in agriculture and industry.
The Iranian side emphasized that both countries should use their national currencies in the course of trade and to increase the level of trade and transit, it is necessary to build highways and roads.
At the same time, Mullah Baradar thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for hosting the Afghan immigrants living in this country and demanded a good treatment of the immigrants and addressing their problems.
In this meeting, both sides strongly condemned the crimes of the oppressive Israeli regime in Palestine and asked the Muslim world not to remain silent in the face of this horror.
Meanwhile, Mullah Baradar and his accompanying delegation met and talked with the ministers of agriculture, foreign and interior affairs, as well as the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council during their several-day trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
