Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Immigrants and Returnees Affairs of the Islamic Emirate today (Monday, December 17) is International Immigrant Day with the presence of high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate, international institutions, representatives of the embassies of countries and representatives of the Ministry. Government houses in the government information and media center were honored during a ceremony in Kabul.
Mohammad Arsala Kharouti, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Immigrant Affairs, said in the meeting that in the last two months, Pakistan has forcibly deported Afghan immigrants and confiscated and looted the immigrants' property, contrary to Islamic, humanitarian, neighborly and international standards.
He stated that thousands of Afghan immigrants are imprisoned in Pakistani prisons and added that Iran and Turkey also forcefully deport thousands of Afghan immigrants every day.
He asked neighboring countries of Afghanistan to stop the process of forced deportation of immigrants.
The financial and administrative deputy of the Ministry of Immigrant Affairs also asked the international community not to be indifferent to the forced deportation of immigrants and to play a responsible and constructive role in this field.
Mohammad Arsala Kharouti, criticizing the US, said that this country imposes cruel economic sanctions on Afghanistan under various pretexts, but it has remained silent about the violation of the rights of immigrants in Pakistan.
He mentioned the number of Afghan immigrants living in neighboring countries and other countries as 7 million people and added that more than 3 thousand prisoners have been released from the prisons of Pakistan and Iran and more than 7 thousand other Afghan prisoners.
According to him, after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, 2.8 million Afghan immigrants have returned to the country from Pakistan, Iran and some other countries.
This official of the Ministry of Refugee Affairs said that due to wars and insecurity in the past, there were more than 3 million internally displaced people in Afghanistan, but with the efforts of the Ministry of Refugees and aid agencies, about 1.3 million people have been transferred to their original areas.
He said that by the order of the leader of the Islamic Emirate, various committees have been created to deal with the problems of the emigrants deported from Pakistan and various services are provided to the emigrants.
On the other hand, Khalilur Rahman Haqqani, Acting Minister of Immigration and Returnee Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, said that migration started in Afghanistan since the Soviet era and millions of people migrated from Afghanistan to other countries and this process is still going on.
He added: "After 20 years of Jihad in Afghanistan, the government of the Islamic Emirate was established and NATO's aggression led by America failed."
According to Haqqani, the US occupied dozens of countries and used various bombs on the people of Afghanistan, but it failed in Afghanistan and all the actions of the US are against all humanitarian and international laws.
He asked the Afghan immigrants living in other countries to return to their country and participate in the Afghan settlement.
