The construction of a mosque called "Al-Aqsa" in support of the people of Gaza in Badakhshan province
The head of urban development and housing of Badakhshan Province says that the symbol of the "Al-Aqsa Mosque" building was built in the center of this province in the area of 10 acres of land with two floors, which has the capacity of 4,000 worshipers at a time. He adds that the purpose of building this mosque is to express sympathy and support for the oppressed people of Palestine, especially Gaza.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-Sharif: Maulavi Waliullah Elahi, head of urban development and housing in Badakhshan province, said regarding the construction of a mosque under the name of "Al-Aqsa" in this province: "The building of Al-Aqsa Mosque is within 10 acres of land with two floors with a capacity of 4,000 The prayer hall has been built at the same time and the main purpose of building this mosque is to express sympathy and support for the oppressed people of Palestine, especially Gaza.

He added: "The construction of Al-Aqsa Mosque took about two years, and it was completed and put into operation on the 26th of this year, and it is supposed to provide the teaching of religious sciences, upbringing and education for 51 orphans and 400 students. 

Maulavi Elahi stated that the construction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque cost more than 20 million Afghanis, which was paid by the residents of the Three-Ragh district.

Maulavi Saifur Rahman Anab, a member of the Badakhshan Ulama Council, said in this regard: Al-Aqsa Mosque was built to share the grief of the people of Gaza and in the hope of the freedom of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and this shows that the people of Afghanistan are standing by the oppressed Palestinian nation while sympathizing.

It should be mentioned that Al-Aqsa Mosque is located in the seventh district of Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan province, and the naming of this mosque has been welcomed by the public.
