Afghanistan Free Journalists Union held the 2023 media award program
The Afghan Independent Journalists Union organized the 2023 media award program with the aim of encouraging more journalists and media workers of the country to professional activities, honoring, appreciating and institutionalizing the culture of supporting meritocracy in the media field.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The officials of the Afghan Independent Journalists Union have said in this program that it is our responsibility to value the valuable work of our media colleagues and to praise the merits, developments and talents of this field every year.

The officials of the Afghan Free Journalists Union, which has launched this program, believes that holding such programs encourages journalists and media workers to be the real voice of the people and society.

According to them, in this competitive program, nearly 350 journalists and media employees competed by sending their work samples from Kabul and provinces, and the judges reviewed all the work samples sent at the level of each zone and selected the best media outlets in Kabul and provinces were selected based on predetermined criteria.

The judges of this program say that in this competitive program, 21 reporters and announcers from Kabul and the eight zones of the country were selected, 5 of them were women, the best media of the country were praised and encouraged materially and spiritually.

Hojatullah Mujadadi, the head of the Afghanistan Independent Journalists Union, has spoken in connection with the incentive programs, journalists' access to information, suggestions of the media community and coordination between the government and the media.
