Pakistan and Japan condemned the terrorist attack in Kandahar
Following the reactions to the ISIS terrorist attack in Kandahar, Japan and Pakistan have condemned this attack and expressed their sympathy with the families of the victims.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has published a statement calling the deadly attack of the Daesh group in Kandahar a terrorist attack and strongly condemned it.
 
It is stated in this statement that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
 
Pakistan's foreign ministry added that terrorism is a common concern that both countries should address through collective efforts.
 
On the other hand, the Japanese Embassy in Afghanistan condemned the terrorist attack in Kandahar by publishing a newsletter and expressed sympathy with the families of the victims.
 
The embassy said that such terrorist attacks should be stopped as soon as possible.
 
On the other hand, Japan, on behalf of the members of the UN Security Council, also condemned the recent terrorist attack in Kandahar in a statement. In this statement, accountability and prosecution of perpetrators, organizers, financiers and supporters of these types of actions is emphasized.
 
The Security Council emphasized: "Any act of terrorism, regardless of its motivation, anywhere, anytime, and by anyone, is criminal and unjustifiable."
 
Earlier, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran also condemned the recent terrorist attacks in the cities of Kandahar and Kabul and expressed his sympathy with the families of the victims.
 
Meanwhile, following the suicide attack on Thursday in Kandahar, according to the spokesman of the police command of this province, three civilians were martyred and 12 others were injured.
 
The explosion took place around 8:30 am on Thursday in the former police headquarters near the "New Cable Bank" agency.
 
ISIS terrorist group took responsibility for this suicide attack.
