The Israeli regime, angered over the UN Security Council resolution to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and in order to divert the world public opinion, has reportedly come up with a new anti-Iran allegation claiming to confiscate Iranian weapons sent to the occupied West Bank.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to a report, the Zionist regime's army claimed on Monday that Iran tried to send weapons to the occupied West Bank in the past few months and that one of these shipments was seized.
Showing pictures of weapons and ammunition, the Israeli army claimed that the shipment includes various types of explosives and anti-tank mines, assault weapons, RPGs, hand grenades and pistols.
The army also claimed that it cooperated with the internal spy agency known as Shin Bet in this operation and found out that Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps played a role is sending weapons to the West Bank via Syria.
The Zionist regime is known for its anti-Iran allegations without providing substantial proof. This as the regime itself has been targeting Syria and Iranian military personnel on an advisory mission to the Arab country in violation of international law.
The new allegation against Tehran came shortly after the immediate ceasefire resolution was finally approved by the UN Security Council after nearly 6 months of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.
The move by the 15-member council has angered the Israeli regime which also announced the cancellation of a trip of the Israeli delegation to Washington, which was supposed to discuss a ground invasion of the southern Gaza city of Rafah./IRNA
