Attack on Pakistan Navy base in Balochistan
Last night, some Baloch separatists attacked the Pakistan Navy base in Torbat region of Balochistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pakistani authorities announced today (Tuesday) that a number of terrorists attacked a naval base in this country and killed at least one soldier.

Five terrorists who were trying to enter PNS Siddiqui, one of the largest bases of the Pakistani Navy, were killed.

The attack on the "Torbat" base in the southwest of Pakistan is the second attack by terrorists on a military institution of this country in recent days.

According to Isna, citing Reuters news agency, the office of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also announced in a statement: "Fortunately, this attack did not cause many casualties."

In the meantime, a spokesperson of the Pakistan Navy also announced that all five attackers were killed after they tried to enter the base. A soldier also lost his life.

The Baloch Liberation Army, which is the most important separatist group in Pakistan's Balochistan, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The group had previously attacked Pakistani and Chinese assets in the region and elsewhere.

China has a serious and heavy investment in Pakistan's Balochistan province, which borders Iran and Afghanistan, and this investment is in Gwadar Port.

This naval base is important for Pakistan-China Economic Corridor because it includes many routes and roads and many projects and is considered a part of Chinese President Xi Jinping's Belt and Road Initiative.
