By financing ISIS through Pakistan, the West is trying to destabilize China, Russia and Iran
Atif Meshaal, the former ambassador of the Afghan government in Islamabad, wrote in an article published on the Al-Mursad media website that the West is trying to destabilize China, Russia, Iran and Central Asian countries by financing ISIS through Pakistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The former ambassador of the Afghan government in Islamabad says that the West is trying to destabilize China, Russia, Iran and Central Asian countries by financing ISIS through Pakistan.

Atif Meshaal said that the West prevents the implementation of large economic projects in the region through ISIS.

Atif Meshaal wrote this in an article on Al-Mursad website, a media affiliated with the security institutions of the Islamic Emirate.

Referring to the recent report of Reuters about the leader of Daesh Khorasan, Mr. Mashaal wrote that Shahab Al Muhajar, the leader of Daesh Khorasan terrorist group, is currently living and organizing attacks in the Balochistan region of Pakistan.

This diplomat of the previous government has rejected the accusations of Pakistan that ISIS is active in Afghanistan.

In this article, Atif Meshaal called these claims about the concern of the ISIS group's activities in Afghanistan as baseless and considered it an attempt by Pakistan to make the world mistrust the Islamic Emirate. Mr. Meshaal has even attributed the armed attacks against Chinese companies in Pakistan to some factions in the military and political organizations of Pakistan.

According to Meshaal, people in Pakistan's army, who are supporters of the West, are trying to create problems for the implementation of large regional economic projects, especially the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He also pointed to the increase in insecurity in Pakistan's Chitral, saying that Pakistani generals want to prevent the connection between Afghanistan and China through Wakhan.

Mr. Meshaal also considered terrorist groups in Central Asia as a potential threat to China's interests and the implementation of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.

Meshaal pointed out that the project of ISIS and terrorist groups in Central Asia is generally an attempt to lay stones on the way of development projects such as Pakistan-China Economic Corridor, TAPI, Casa One Thousand and other regional projects.
