The US foreign minister arrived in Saudi Arabia

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Sputnik, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Saudi Arabia on a regional trip to discuss the ceasefire in Gaza.

 

During this trip, Blinken is supposed to meet with his counterparts in the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf and exchange opinions on the plans for the reconstruction of Gaza.

 

An official in the US State Department said that Blinken will go to Jordan and the occupied territories after these consultations.

 

According to this report, the joint meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and the US Secretary of State will begin in a few hours.

 

At his request, Anthony Blinken is expected to visit the Gaza Strip, particularly Kibbutz Beiri and Karam Abu Salem crossing, during his trip to the occupied territories on Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

The website of Yediot Aharonot newspaper reported on Sunday that the American official's visit to the Gaza Strip will take place at the request of the US Secretary of State, while War Minister Yoav Gallant and Zionist Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz will also accompany him.
