Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Enayatullah Khwarazmi, the spokesman of the Ministry of National Defense, gave an explanation about the crash of an army helicopter in Ghor province.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense wrote in an announcement on the Ax social network: "Around this morning, an MI 17 aircraft wing of the country's air force was dispatched with the aim of extracting the bodies of a number of our compatriots who had fallen in the Hariroud sea in the Ghor province a while ago with a Blankoch type car. After being rescued, the plane had technical problems and crashed into a wall during an emergency landing in Firouzkoh city.
According to Enayatullah Kharazmi, as a result of this incident, one person was martyred and 12 other passengers of this helicopter were injured.
The Ministry of National Defense has expressed its condolences to the family of the victim and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
